


Our area boasts some of the best snowmobiling in Maine or in the country. With 100's of miles of well groomed trails, you can snowmobile from one end of the state to the other. Baxter State Park which is in our backyard, presents you with some excellent photo opportunities and true wilderness riding. Be sure to check snowmobile regulations in Baxter State Park

While in the area, please visit and support our local snowmobile clubs. Many, many hours of volunteer work is put into the trails for your enjoyment, so don't forget to praise any members you meet on the trail for their hard work.
The Rockabema Snow Rangers in Patten is located a few miles out of town off Rt. 11.
The Benedicta Snowgang another club serving the area.
Bowlin - Matagamon Snowmobile Club serving the Shin Pond, and areas near the north end of Baxter State Park.

Maine Snowmobile Association TRAIL ETHICS 1) I will always operate at a reasonable and prudent speed for trail conditions;
2) I will always drive to the right side of the trail and park to the right in single file or stop off the edge of the groomed surface;
3) I will not pass unless recognized and motioned to pass by the snowmobile operator ahead;
4) I will respect the trail groomer operator and leave the trail in the same condition I found it;
5) I will not drink and drive;
6) I will not ride on plowed roads except at legal crossings.
