The area in and around the Upper Valley Economic Council supports world class fresh water fishing for Native Brook Trout, Landlock Salmon, Lake Trout(Togue), Smallmouth Bass, Whitefish and many smaller species of fish. Free fishing days will take place on February 17th and 18th, and June 2nd and 3rd. On these days residents, nonresidents and aliens (except those whose license has been suspended or revoked) may fish without a license.  All other laws and regulations apply on these days.
